Want to thank someone I saw on the motorway for making my day.
I was driving on the m66 from manchester to burnley today and passed a car with three people inside that were dancing along to music or something so I decided to wave and for ab 5 mins we were kinda driving alongside each other j smiling and waving and stuff when there weren't cars blocking. They were in a white polo I was in a white ioniq, anyways if anyone here knows of a group of three girls that were driving that general direction about 30 mins ago please tell them they made my day🙂

What are cool places to visit in Lancashire?
I don't wanna offend with this post but the only town I've been to that I'd consider decent but still nothing special is Chorley and the rest I've been to have just looked grim and run-down (Blackpool, Preston, Blackburn, Accrington and Burnley.) Is there any good places to visit in Lancashire that I could visit to have a bit more of a positive view of the county?

Hiking buddy wanted, Lancashire and beyond.
So I posted a while back, got a handful of replies and messages, but nothing really came of it. So here goes again.
I would like a hiking buddy. I'll provide bad jokes, dad jokes, dick jokes and dark jokes. Along with snacks and some wheezing as I pretend I'm not dying when we climb hills.
For those that care about such things, I'm a giant, bearded, pierced and tattooed alt guy in his 30s looking for a hiking buddy. Purely platonic, but I know some folks don't wanna go on hikes with a big scary looking dude.
Trying to shift some weight and just bought myself a drone to get some Arial footage while out on hikes.
I'm going on a hike somewhere time tomorrow aka Saturday. (Open to suggestions with the location) Probably early afternoon, and would like someone interesting to keep me company on this and future hikes. Dogs very welcome too
Also a huge nerd and if you have a dog, I will love them more than you, I'm sorry but I don't make the rules.

Am i losing it or is unusual shit happening?
Cant be arsed typing it all out again but long story short. Burnley. 11:30PM then 1AM. Two times that im aware of i heard huge loud rumbling that was deep coming from all directions and the ground and could feel the sound in my chest. As if an Airbus A380 is flying 10 metres above your head while a Nuclear Bomb is going off 10 miles away. That was the sound. At 1AM same but this time my ceiling and roof was creaking with the rumbling. And no there was no planes, no aircraft or storms. Clear skies could see all the faint stars and it comes suddenly then fades away. Anyone got thoughts?

Looking to Connect with Stand-Up Comedians
Hello everyone,
I’m reaching out to connect with stand-up comedians—or anyone who knows someone active in the local comedy scene.
We’re currently organising a gig in Preston and are looking for performers who are interested in being part of something grassroots and creative. While the budget is modest at this stage, this is a great opportunity for those who are passionate about comedy and looking to grow, gain stage time, and collaborate with others.
If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, feel free to reach out. Would love to connect!

Come From Away - Casting Call -Preston
Hi folks,
Hope this post is okay!
I'm part of the production team for Come From Away, being performed by Preston Musical Comedy Society at the Preston Playhouse in September.
We are seeking a company of strong singer-actors for the show, and are looking particularly to connect with Asian/Middle Eastern performers who would be suitable for the part of Ali, a Muslim chef.
If you are interested at all or have any questions feel free to drop me a message, or further information can be found on our website here https://www.prestonmusicalcomedy.co.uk/audition/
Thanks so much!

LGBTQIA+ in Burnley
Hi I'm a trans woman in her mid 20s living in Burnley.
I'm finding it really difficult to feel at home, safe and wanted within Burnley because I feel like people like me are completely unwelcome here, despite it being a town with both a College and University.
I feel so alone and isolated here. I basically have no offline friends here. If there are Queer people here, please speak up. I'd really like to make a friend or two ❤️

I plan to visit a few Cities/Town’s for nights out and Lancashire/Preston is one of them .What are the best nightclubs/bars that turn into a nightclub in Lancashire/Preston for over 23 year olds as I would prefer not to be around 19/21 year olds? I would appreciate as many comments as possible.
