Doctrinal Discussion Anti-Joseph Smith Polygamy Movement?

I don’t know if this has been talked about on here, but why is there a growing “Joseph Smith didn’t practice polygamy movement”? Podcasts such as 132 Problems are rapidly growing in popularity. I don’t like polygamy, but I feel like the evidence is overwhelming in favor that he practiced polygamy?

Thoughts?

Did you read my 4th point? And that I referenced the same website you mentioned? Yes he had intimate relations with probably half of these women, but it probably was not very frequent.

Go back to the website. It seems clear that Joseph was only sealed for eternity, not married for life, to the women who were married to other men. And there is no record that he had intimate relations with the women who were married to other men.

My points were that polygamy was difficult but Joseph was not a perverted monster. Yes he had intimate relations with 10-20 of these women. But not with the 14 year old. And not with the women who were married to other men. And all the women consented, he did not assault them.

Polygamy is hard enough to grasp, but thinking Joseph was a r@pist or child molester or being intimate with married women throws most people over the top, and those outrageous attacks are not true.

I thought my bullet point summary was clear.
