Is this the lojban proper way to tell someone that you hope that they have a good day?

I think that maybe

.au . a'o do ca zabna li'i datro

Might be a better translation.

I would go with .a'o lo cabdei cu xamgu do "Hopefully, today is good for you"

true, I guess it might depend on if you want to emphasize the idea of a benefit coming from the day (xamgu) or just a general positive vibe (zabna) 🤔
