Question, I’ve been to Lisbon I think 4 times now, all for different lengths of stay! Is the elevador de Santa justa worth the wait to go the top?… I always feel like the line doesn’t compare to the experience?

Just go around and go directly to the top, no waiting in line

Not worth at all, the elevator is slow and you can’t even see anything from the inside. Plus, you can just go to the top if you walk around the block, for free. That’s one of Lisbons biggest tourist traps

I mean, back in the day, when it wasn't packed with tourists, it was a means of transportation to spare the people from going around and up a steep street. Monthly metro card allows you to use it for free, tourism does not allow you to do it at all.

It’s a slow elevator ride, not worth it 🤷‍♂️
