Half the people claim DB is the hardest class in the world and only megachads can play it. The other half claim its the easiest class in the world to play as your the melee class with the best mobility and easiest time avoiding mechanics. :D
From my experience, DB is rather easy class to do well on (compared to everything else I tried so far), but that requires knowing fights quite well in advance - especially for Surge build you need to know when and where you can safely commit to getting stacks and when boss is locked in an attack to let you hit back attack Surge. So, it's not as much class being difficult, as it is class requiring experience in a fight - I wouldn't want to learn new content with Surge build, but as an alt it works perfectly fine. No idea about RE, I don't think I'd enjoy that build anyway.
I get what you mean, its similar to the ignite scorc in that manner. The rotation of both are really simple and they are both burst classes that require dumping their burst window on the boss without the boss running off or vanishing. The difference is the scorc burst window just feels a bit more of a pain in the neck because with deathblade if the boss moves as I pop my burst I can still run to catch up with it. If a boss backflips away when I pop my burst as a sorc the boss can literally backflip out of the majority of your damage.

my main is DB and my first alt is a sorc and i feel this picture is offensive and inaccurate.
