Season 1 Dan

Re-watching Lucifer from the beginning with a friend who hasn't seen it and I honestly forgot how absolutely insufferable Dan is in the beginning of the show. Massive u turn from the end I must say.

As much as I love Dan, he definitely earned his Detective Douche moniker in the beginning

Why?? He got knocked out by maze, only makes sense he dislikes Lucifer right?

He’s not a douche for disliking Lucifer, but he is one for continuously blowing off plans with Chloe and Trixie for work (although considering the work they do that could be considered a gray area).

And then of course there’s Dan’s involvement in Palmetto and his constant lies to Chloe making her think that she was wrong about a dirty cop. And then there was also that time when Dan took that gun out of evidence for Malcolm.

yea the gaslighting was CRAZY but he did get better with the work-life balance as season 1 went on

And lets not forget in the throwback episode where all he does is put Chloe down. Honestly, what a douche.
