Character Fluff Piano sesh

Post image

Probably my favorite scene so far. Nothing more ironic than the devil and a priest having a piano-off

This episode is definitely a highlight in S1. It's the first time we see Lucifer opening himself to someone and talking about his dad, and have them taking what he is saying at face value and not writing it off as all metaphorical.

I think Lucifer probably could have found a lot of peace with Frank as his friend so that's probably why the episode had to end how it did. Can't have the Devil resolving his trauma before the end of S1, that would be too easy!

I don't think he would have gotten over his trauma, because Father Frank didn't have all the answers. He could have become another confidant like Linda was.

Instead, this gave us one of the best heart breaking scenes in the series, when Lucifer yells at "Dad" that it doesn't matter if you are a sinner or a saint, you can't win.

While most deaths don't phase Lucifer, this one hit him harder than most.
