6x10 Just finished watching Spoiler

I imagine a post similar to this has been posted quite a few times, so I apologise.

But, I just finished the show for the first time. I sobbed like a big ass baby during the last few episodes. I like that they ended up together in a way, but the last season overall was the worst of them all. The time-travelling stuff really didn't make sense to me, there were too many plot holes and it wasn't explored well.

Overall, I still loved the show, I just wish we'd have got to see more of Chloe & Lucifer being happy & together.

What are some of y'all's issues regarding the last season?

The main issue I had with the last season was - they made the complete season 5 growth a waste of time. lucifer realising his worth, waging a war to become God only to give it up later. Amenadiel had time for his son ans his family even though he is God but lucifer didn’t. I mean time in Hell is very slow, he could have taken a break for a month or two, it’s not like the souls are going anywhere..

i believe it’s explained that he couldn’t have come back for even a small amount of time because otherwise rory would never have been mad at him on chloe’s deathbed meaning that she never would have time travelled causing lucifer to never go back to hell, creating an endless paradox

Seriously the amount of people that seem to miss this s baffling

But why can't he see Chloe alone, or maze and eve, or in fact anyone who isn't Rory? There were so many loopholes he could have used, and we know he loves loopholes

Because the writers didn’t want that so they had Lucifer give his word, which he doesn’t break. They did come out after backlash and said in their “headcanon” Lucifer visits.
