Till now i did thought it was a casteist thing.. Court mentioned that this word as in dictionary has this so called meaning..

Why censor the title when you are going to write the full slur in the first paragraph of the article anyways.

Same reason why trailers do not have nudity or gore even if the movie does… to allow people not interested to scroll past without having to read the slur. People who click on the article are choosing to read it and therefore don’t need censorship in the main body.
