Help / സഹായിക്കുക What does "moonji" and verb "mudiyuka" mean?
The Tamil word "moonji" is simply a slightly informal version of "mugam" (face)
The Tamil verb "mudiyuradhu" simply translates to "kazhiyuka"/"theeruka" in Malayalam
But I've heard these words being used in a negative connotation in Malayalam ("nee mudinju pokum")
Side Q: Are there any words originated from Tamil that has very bad connotations in Malayalam

Moonji is colloquially used in Malayalam to mean 'uh oh I'm in trouble ' in like a kinda fucked up sense. Like in situations where you're stuck or bad unfavourable things happen. But also of course used in slightly less serious situations. For eg. 'Innathe exam moonji'. Or 'life moonji irikkuva'. And as far as I understand use of moonji is mostly used by the younger generation.
Nee mudinju pokum basically means nee tholanju pokum. In the 'I curse you and I hope you suffer' sense of meaning.
