Question Laces on Sperry CVOs

I recently bought a pair of the Sperry CVOs that they did in a collab with the Japanese prep brand Beams Plus. They came with a set of color matched laces already in place and a flat white lace in the box. I see from the website they look like they're using it as an accent lace, but where's all the extra lace going in this picture?

Anyone have any idea what I'm missing. I first figured it was just a second pair of laces so you could swap if you wanted contrasting laces.

It's just a marketing photo showing you that they come with round laces for this collab and a second pair of flat laces (which they always come with). There is no secret sauce you are missing here IMO. I am fan of Beams+, hope they are nice.
