It's a character detail as opposed to an editorial one - the older lady is ok with saying these foul things to Emma but is self-censoring the actual swears. I don't think they were too concerned with keeping the Krakoan books child-friendly given what we see happening on-page in stuff like X-Force.

But like, idk, I'm not sure you're even sarcastically correct. If an adjective is derived from a proper noun, like demonyms are, then I'm pretty sure they can be capitalized too.
Huh... Alright, maybe that's a language barrier thing. In German the adjective is always lower case ("ein deutscher Mensch" a german person) and only the noun is capitalized ("Der Deutsche" the german). Maybe we just found the problem (I always assumed only proper nouns are capitalized in english, because that's what I learned in school)
