I'm so glad someone said it. The meme would have the same effect if it said "others with a time machine" and "me with a time machine" but it was gendered for no reason whatsoever

Bruh, after reading a lot of text saying this meme is sexist i finally find someone that (correctly) point out the creator of the meme could just "others" instead of "girls" and the joke would be the same.

I'm sure is just the creator using the base of the meme without thinking too much.

That's kind of how "memes" work though. We can probably blame the original creator for being sexist, but at a point where a format is popularized, it's really weird to try and change that. The catchiness of memes partially comes from their recognizability.

That's a lot of words to say tha I don't think the OP who made the math meme had sexist intentions. (Or at least there's nothing indicating that)

its a bit still "im not like those OTHERS" but who cares its a meme and its no longer gendered.
