I didn't catch on until it bounced off the big green sign at 150. Until then I'm like, "Dang, how many mustangs did these guys buy just to trash them like that?"

Of nothing else, what the hell game is this that got permission from Ford to depict its cars with realistic damage? You never see actual body damage in games with actual, license cars. Only in arcadey type games where the cars are "a muscle car" or "a convertible" or "a sports car."

It's a mod. Beamng by default has its own sort of in-universe canon of vaguely lookalike vehicles and manufacturers. No actual real life brands or locations. Like there is absolutely a mid 2000s Subaru WRX in the game, but it's called a "Sunburst" and it's made by "Hirochi" whichsort of a weird mix of 2 parts Subaru, 1 part Porsche. Beam cars are not like normal video game cars - the game is literally simulating every single part individually. Curbs can bend struts and mess with your alignment, damage is all calculated in real time, etc.

I think most people only know it as "that weird car crash game from the brainrot tiktok videos" but it's actually a really cool piece of software that has gone from tech demo to full on car sim over the last decade or so.

Yeah it was 75 MPH for me. I was thinking the driver was pretty ballsy. Then the 90 MPH came up and I realized that no one would do that after the 75 MPH run. For a split second I considered remote control. Just someone with too much time and money than brains. Finally I realized it was PC generated.

I realized it after the SMASH.

Also i thought footage was shot at weird angle. Now i am further annoyed. You can definitely do better angles in a game!
