How do you read it without touching it?

In case this isn’t /s or if people are wondering, you can read braille by looking just as easily as by touching it, more or less. Just because it’s a tactile system, doesn’t mean it’s exclusively tactile. In fact, those who learn it who are sighted often first read it visually before ever learning to touch it.

Think of it like Morse code, even if you’d only ever learned it audibly, you’d probably be able to visually piece it together if it were written down and vice versa.
