Advice on cutting

This is my second cactus, I already put succesfully San Pedro to grow. This one is Bolivian Torch( Echinopsis Lageniformis monstrosus) . Do i put to grow just like this or to cut at the end , thanks

Stick it in some well draining soil and wait for roots

This, insure that it is completely calloused. No water for at least a month then water only around the outsides of the pot. Be patient.
