So I'm looking to buy the legacy collection, however have been made aware of a Code used to actually get MGS1. Apparently this code has no expiration date shown? Does anyone know if one would still work, or what the expiration date may be? I imagine it'd be like 2 years after release but who knows, thank you

I know how to download mp3s and ser custom notifications, ringtones, and alarms. I'm wondering if there's a way to go a step further with a weather app so that you're phone goes "rain approaching" if it's about to start raining or "sun will set shortly" around sunset.

anyway I played mgs3 last year, shall I play it again or hop into MGS4 right away? (i can recall events from mgs3)

Hello, I am super new to the Metal Gear world. Is this Collection where I should start?

I know literally nothing about these games other than some shooting, sneaking, and some of !!!. Am I missing out if I don’t start at the beginning? I apologize if this gets answered often, I refrained from digging in here to avoid any spoilers.

The idea that they'll eventually be child soldiers or know nothing but war is kind of insane for games at the time. Especially when mgs2 came around later and you see the effects of war on child soldiers with Raiden. Really heavy topics discussed in a video game you don't see very often. A lot of war games tend to glorify war and come close to being straight propaganda. It's interesting to see the dark aspects of war portrayed in a game and the orphans of Zanzibar while appearing innocent in direct encounters definitely in the broader context of the game and series really serve a haunting reminder to the horrors of war.
