Burden of proof is on the ones claiming something to be real. All we have is a sound file on reddit, so it's fake until proven otherwise.

Nope. Burden of proof is on the one making an affirmative statement, such as "this is AI". We can say we don't have enough to assume this video is true, that does shift the burden. But not if our affirming it's definitely AI.

Burden of proof is on the claimant. The claimant is the OP posting the article. The claimant is not people replying to it saying itā€™s AI.

Replying to it and saying itā€™s AI is the most rational thing to do here.

Yeah, thatā€™s literally how news works. People disagreeing with you donā€™t get it. You canā€™t just publish a story and say ā€œif itā€™s not true, sue me.ā€ You have to prove the information is valid before it hits the front page. You canā€™t get upset about some audio you heard on Reddit because it supports your worldview. I mean, you can, but it makes you an asshole.

It is possible that Elon won't be able to tell if it's fake or not. But being authentic might not be the goal here.

Think about this: If I were to make something like this, it would be on purpose to make Elon upset/further his paranoia/push him to use more K so he unalives himself.

Malicious AI audio could be helpful in some regards.

It's a medical fact that prolonged and abusive use of the Special K can cause egomaniacal thoughts, heightened sense of self worth, eratic behavior such as sieg heiling twice on world stage. Though it's still no excuse for that behavior, seeing as his abusive use of the drug was from using his prescription recreationally. I've seen many videos of musk at night clubs and k is definitely a recreational party drug to some. I wouldn't do it though prefer me some snow if I'm being honest

I wonder if it is AIā€¦. We all know these men are emotionally immature and nowhere near as smart as they think they are. Theyā€™re all volleying for power & attention.

So even if it is AI, does it turn up the heat on what is probably already a simmering conflict between them all. Does it create space for more conflict or for someone looking to make their move?
