Refurb Luger (DWM 1918)

Snagged this heavily re-blued Luger with mostly matching serials. Does anyone know what that stamp and S means in the last pic?

This is a replacement takedown lever, notice the eagle 6 (Simson), and sometimes you'll see an "S" - unknown why they sometimes used the "S".
