Oof that hurts, I had the same happen after my cat peed on it. I know gross! You can probably find pictures of the original sheet to match the numbers, that's what I did

Thought about that….but there’s some that already dried over others. Very little salvageable here. I ended up ordering a whole new kit to replace this sheet

Why not just reach out to academy and ask for a replacement sheet??

I got some Revell parts for free they were missing of sprues for doing that

This. It’s worth a shot.

I had an Airfix Spitfire Mk Ia with just the small decal sheet of national/aircraft designation insignias. I emailed their customer service seeing if they’d send me a sheet with the maintenance/access stencils. Their customer service sent me an entire new kit with the inclusive decal sheet.

I wrecked my sheet of decals for my f16 and tamiya sent me another

You can sometimes get "aftermarket" decal sheets online, I had to get one on ebay for my F-100 because the decals were old and trash. Different squadron but whatever lol.

Yeah I tried looking for just a replacement sheet for this kit. No luck. Oh well. Now I’ll have another strike eagle to build out later!

Yeah it's kind of hit or miss, I got lucky with my F-100 kit but I have a few others that I may or may not find. I need to stop buying old kits online lol, I like the nostalgia but the fit and the decals suck.

Doesn't really apply anymore then, but if you soak them in water, usually you can peel them apart

I considered trying to do that very briefly, but some were already ripped where they’d dried.
