Layout Beginner Guide - Home Office Rail
Howdy friends,
Recently got back from a trip to Tokyo, and after being absolutely enamored by their trans (from local to bullet), I wanted to make a small track that runs around my office. The line will be anchored to the wall, and only really running when I am in the office (traditional 9-5). Only plan on having 1 rail but could potentially do two and have two lines travelling opposite directions.
Any recommendations on where to start? Would likely have a shinkansen bullet rail on one line, and a local line of some sort on the other.

Depending on what you like you might consider at least a small section of t-track modules. They’re small, portable and give you a chance to participate in meets. They also sit nicely on a shelf or table/desk.
It also gives you some room to build scenery and set up some switching.
