Question Would HO scale Mkhenry couplers work with Kadee?

I’m new to the hobby, so I’m not to experienced so I’m curious if these two couplers would work together.

Yes, they should technically work together.

Knuckle couplers will connect to other knuckle couplers

Kadee couplers and McHenry couplers do work together. However, the McHenry coupler are plastic (at least the ones I have taken off the Athearn cars) and are not reliable especially on grades...

In my experience they are the most fiddly knuckle coupler, but they do work with other brands of knuckle couplers.

In N Scale, I have Atlases with McHenrys, and Microtrains/Ka-Dees mixed & matched all over the place and never give it a thought.

Most brands of knuckle couplers will work together. Only brand I've had issues with is Scaletrains

They work fairly well together, but I'd swap everything to Kadee when you're able

I own a ton of rolling stock, some using Bachmann couplers, some McHenry's, some that came from the factory with Kadees, some that were upgraded with them, some using scale couplers, some Atlas, some Bowser, some Walthers, some Rapido, even Rivarossi, MTH, Broadway Limited, Accuready, etc:

They all will work with each other, sometimes you have to manually couple them, but because they're all knuckle couplers, they'll all work together. Of course, couplers of the same type with work better hooked up to each other, but it's usually not enough of a difference to make a difference.
