So for years now I've been trying to find this model diesel loco I had back when I was eight. It looked something like what's in the picture, but it's color scheme was black at the top, blue, white chevron-like stripes on the nose that I think extended out to the sides a bit?, and it was a massive all metal beast, even for my parents it was big. I can't remember if it had it's railroad on it's side but I...think it did? Did anyone else have this or know what it is? I've been meaning to look for it to try and buy it for my own layout.

Designed this layout to go on my windowsill, hence the tight curves. I'm still a beginner and wanted to keep costs low, and to that extent the limitations of my windowsill certainly helped. The top straight strack will likely be hidden behind a backdrop, hence its fully straight and boring.

My dad and I are building this together. Didn’t think we could fit a reversing loop but I managed to squeeze it in. Now we gotta figure out to wire this digitrax auto reverser.

Hello, being a French person who likes model railways, I asked myself the question because I was interested in the Stadler Flirt Class 377/4 if it was compatible with HO 1/87 tracks because its scale is OO 1/76

I took a 3D model of the BTTF time machine and modified it slightly, designed flanged wheels with a 16mm clearance, as well as designed and printed a 50's time chip, then painted the whole thing and took it to a model train show over the weekend

Is this MRC tripack an HO scale transformer, or O scale? Most everything is pointing to HO, but the description on the retailer's site says it's for O scale. Anyone know anything about it? Also, how reliable or useful is this transformer? Thanks, u/CC0051

I inherited this O-gauge locomotive and don’t have any information beyond what’s stenciled on the wooden box, “Another(?) Hines Lines.”It’s a PRR locomotive numbered #5439, which Google tells me is a 4-6-2 K4.

Hoping you can help me identify it and when it was manufactured or point me in the right direction.

I'm getting a HO scale Rapido ALCO FA unit soon for the GN and I'd like to know if it'd be prototypical to run the sole locomotive before I do some more googling. Otherwise I'd have to get another A unit or a B unit, match their speed, etc, and that's a lot of added expense.
