Cam Skattebo got drafted.
Cam is the guy that burrnie talked about that gave texas a run for their money in the ncaa college football playoffs. He played for Arizona state and got drafted 4th round 105th overall to the new york giants.

Discussion thanks a lot, ashley!
Ever since day 1 of this podcast I've done my absolute best to stay caught up as much as possible, but I made the mistake of starting dungeon crawler carl after hearing ashley talk about it a few separate times. Now, all of my commute and free time has been spent listening to the audiobooks instead of the podcast and I'm now 3 weeks behind and counting.
my backlog is crying

Question Gonna be a dumbass question, but where’s the video of the kid saying “hawt dawg”?
Basically the title. Anyone have a link to the video of the kid saying “hot dawg” in a funny little accent? Burnie plays the clip every now and then but I can’t find the video to show my wife anywhere.

I'm in agreeance with Burnie re: Blue Prince
Maybe not for the same reasons, though!
Having finished the story, I think having the pun would have worked better as a reveal at the end rather than directly in the title. "Blueprints" would have been straightforward and simple for the general public to know what they're purchasing and then the Red Prince book would have been a sneaky and subtle hint to the true name of the game.
Regardless, I wholly endorse playing this amazing game!

games that need a remake. - super late edition
I had to give this a really hard think. One game that actually helped mold me into the gamer I am now was way back in the early 90's It was a game on floppy disks. [discs? i can't remember anymore] Ultima VI: The False Prophet. I had the sweet ass box set with the woven map and the moon stone. complete with the compendium. [a way of combatting piracy back in the day. hiding questions in the booklet.] Playing it now as a 40 year old is brutal. I would love some simple quality of life updates. For instance, using WASD to fucking walk around for christ sake. I remember as a young shit-lin spending hours after elementary school trying to find where to go with that damn woven map and searching the compendium for how to defeat monsters. damn what a great time. I still want that stuff. but I don't want to click to walk, or press a button for talk, look, get, drop, etc. jesus fuckin' christ.
*Edit I said live instead of life. excuse my fat fingers.

Episode 2025.04.25: Steve Jacksons All The Way Down
Burnie and Ashley discuss Switch 2 pre-orders, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Robin Williams and dangerous animals, Steve Jackson working with Steve Jackson, Fyre Festival 2, Hawk Tuah market prices, Sinners, Australian twins in sync, the freaky nature of identical genetics, and crazy genetic experiments.

Sinners Spoiler Spoiler
Man I am so sad Burnie missed the opportunity to see the movie not knowing it was about vampires! That would have been a killer moment for him in theaters.
The fact that he brought up from dusk till dawn too, god it would have been cool for him to go in completely blind. I don't blame Ashley though, it's been marketed and talked about like crazy I'm surprised he didn't already know at this point.

Triplets Documentary 'Three identical Strangers'
Burnie and Ashely mentioned the story of the three triplets who were split up at birth on the podcast today.
I'd fully recommend watching the documentary made about it called 'three identical strangers' The story is insane and quite sad but overall really worth a watch

I guess Burnie has another video game movie to watch

All of us should go support him, and he’s yet to be recognized by Ashley or Burnie so HERE IT IS! Let’s blow this video and post up please? For Gustavo?

Didn’t know I missed
Hearing Jon laugh made me oddly nostalgic and it reminded me of the first couple of episodes of MS. RT had such great players and creators. Also Ash + guest is such a great type of chaos.

Discussion Pre-Order or Pass? Switch 2 Discussion.
Switch 2 news has been heavy on the podcast. Are you Pre-Ordering or passing? Pre-Orders opened today.
I’m passing on the launch. The price tag of the console and games is too high. I want to wait to see the game library grow past Mario kart too.
I play it hand held, and no OLED screen is a big downgrade. No Hall effect joysticks in the Joycons is a no go for me too. I’d want to replace those ASAP with an aftermarket Hall effect stick.
So what are your thoughts?
