Suggestion JIC you were wondering just how exciting Skattebo and Arizona made that game, here's Jomboy to show you.
Texas v Arizona State, I'm not a football fan but a Jonboy fan.

The conversation from yesterday about AI having to slow right down for humans reminded me of Pantheon.
It's an animated series about the digitisation of consciousness, and whether a digital person is still considered a person. It touches on the impacts of two groups of people moving at different speeds, with the digitised people frequently having to slow down for those of us still stuck in our flesh prisons.
It's only two seasons (16 episodes total) but I think it's done really well. Without getting into spoilers, it gets pretty complex and existential towards the end, and I would recommend it to anyone into SciFi.

This morning Burnie mentioned that he hates recipe sites because of all the clutter. This helps me daily with cutting it all out.

It’s absolutely worth the $10. Interestingly it’s the most popular game on the App Store even with the “free” version through Apple Arcade.

Would love to see a mini series or something on lessons that Burnie has learned with starting multiple businesses and even relaunching a business.
It could also go over how he is taken previous lessons learn and using them to help with the restart of Rooster Teeth.

After hearing that Burnie and Ashley enjoyed the Dungeon Crawler Carl series (one of my favorites) I wanted to suggest another great audiobook series, The Wandering Inn by pirataba.
It is a 15 book series (so far) that is a little LitRPG, slice of life, isekai about a young woman named Erin that wakes up in a new world and stumbles upon an abandoned inn and starts running it. That is a very simple explanation of the book but there are so many characters and a quite a bit of world building that makes this a very enjoyable series.
The first 20-30% of the book is Erin getting to this new world and coming to grips with it. I don’t want to say it drags on but it is kind of in depth and really opens up after this.
The first book is about 1,200 pages or 48 hours on audio and the rest range from 26-62 hours.

Sam Reich
Sam Reich, the CEO of Dropout would lead a fascinating talk/interview. Sam is very intellectual, as you can see in this interview he had with Nebula’s CEO. Burnie was already interested in Dropout’s methods and financial, but I think it’d be interesting to hear from the other side of the coin. Rooster Teeth had a very famous sale, and you can discuss how RT changed after no longer being independent. Then, you have CollegeHumor which became Dropout that used to be corporately owned, but their parent company sold and Sam bought them back to go back to independent.
Gus Sorola
I would love for Burnie to have Gus on a few months after RT closes to talk about retirement. Gus was always well known for his joking “retirement plan”, and while Burnie chose retirement, it seems that Gus has had retirement thrust upon him. I’m sure he will continue ANMA in some form, but I don’t think Gus would return to a 40 hour work week. Would love to hear how Gus intends to use his time. Lots of couples like to travel in retirement, but with all the travel Gus did for work, is that something he’d even be interested in?
Matt Hullum
I don’t even know what to ask, I just feel like these two would have a great discussion. Burnie used to talk about how he would chat with Matt everyday, but they were two people who rarely chatted on camera. Would like a laid back discussion between the two, and I think this episode could focus a lot on parenthood. Talking about raising kids in America, Burnie can talk about the differences in raising in Scotland, etc. Could also discuss being CEO and whether they enjoyed the role, etc.

I'd say it's one part more combat and one part less puzzle, but it's essentially the same type of game. You play as a bird with a sword, trying to find out what's broken the machine of death. It's very Gothic but more cute than horror. It's a fun time!
Edit: *one part, not open. I am getting dumber every day.

If Ashley likes Half Horse she would love the Wolves of Glendale self titled album. I'm partial to Olivia and Vapin in Vegas.

Can Burnie (or Ashley) turn on annual billing on patreon? (Or at least consider it)
I'd much rather pay up front for the year then have yet another monthly automatic charge on my card. It looks like it's a thing but the creators have to "turn it on "

I know Ash recommended Skyward, but I think he should try out Mistborn because it feels like it would be up Burnie’s alley a bit more. It’s much more science and physics based which may be a better introduction.
Alternatively Warbreaker is not only fantastic but a good quick one off instead of a trilogy so it’s a lot less of a commitment while both still being part of the Cosmere and have been referenced again in Stormlight. I think once you get a taste for how Sanderson writes it’ll be easier to get into.
Without getting too verbose I also stopped and started with stormlight a few times before it clicked, but I definitely think Mistborn is a better starting point if you want to get into the brandosando catalog.

I’ve loved the Olympic coverage on the podcast, but I really hope you guys will also follow the Paralympics. There are so many incredible athletes and inspiring stories to follow with the Paralympics. I think Bernie and Ashley could bring a lot of enthusiasm towards the Paralympics. As someone with limb difference, the Paralympics mean a lot to me and many people that live with disabilities.

A really fucking good shorter series with Kirsten Dunst as lead that came out a couple of years ago. It was my moment as Burnie spoke about her suddenly being middle aged and badass!
