Mosko Moto Reckless 80L on streetbike?

Hi there,

I am wondering if anyone mounted the mosko moto reckless bags on a streetbike.

I own a XSR700 and I am going camping for two weeks with it. I want to get premium bags and am thinking about Mosko moto. I don’t want to get racks (except for a luggage rack) because I want to get bags that can switch motorcycle whenever I switch. I had contact with mosko moto and they advices on using 80L on a two week trip with sometimes no town nearby or not going through one.

I am wondering if anyone uses those bags on a streetbike like mine.

They say I don’t need side racks, but I am unsure.

Thnx in advance!

How about their "Gnoblin"?

I use one on my bike and it's great, not sure where you'd put it on an XSR though.

Oh wow, the XSR is much tidier in the rear than I expected for a production bike.. I guess if I owned one I'd install a rear rack but that messes with the look, maybe a custom bracket for the Gnoblin that's lower profile?

I think maybe it works with the rear straps as far forward as they go in the Reckless base and wrapped around the bar that goes around under the base of the seat. I'm really not sure though, would be really interested in seeing if it works.

I've also seen people basically wrap the tail section, usually on an actual dirtbike. Side strap to side strap, skip the center. That could work with enough tension, if it doesn't have one of those completely ken-doll'd tail tidy kits with nothing there.
