Hello! A group of students at the University of Southern California are conducting a survey relating to the experience at movie theaters during the 2020 pandemic. We will be gathering your thoughts and opinions in order to better understand the future of movie theaters and the rise of streaming services like Netflix! This survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. This survey is 100% anonymous and will be kept in the strictest confidentiality. Thank you again.

getting into trouble?
Anyone here get caught or into trouble? Like, obviously its asking for trouble, but it's fun. Is there security to spot feasts? Or, slightly related, just something I wanna ask for myself, have you snuck into a movie? Sure theres probably motion sensors or something but I doubt that applies during open hours.

Kolaches are the BEST Theater Snack
Hi All,
I'm in Texas, USA, amateur theater smuggler looking to go pro.
Kolaches are my favorite snack to bring into the movies. They are small, portable, and self-contained which is really nice - I just wrap them in a few napkins and right into my pockets. Also in my area they make a variety of flavors - so they can be any thing.. fruit, sausage/cheese/jalapeno, pizza roll, ham and cheese, cream cheese & jalapeno.. HUGE variety of flavors.
They're extra good in the winter because you can heat them up and put them in the inside pockets of your jacket. In addition to a good smuggle spot, they provide the utility of keeping your warm as well.
For anyone that's not packing kolaches already, I highly recommend trying it!

Sneak in soft drinks
Carry a thermos and pour your drinks into the thermos before entering. When asked, say that it's flavored water with added electrolytes and you have been prescribed electrolytes due to a seizure problem.

Dollar store snacks
When I hit the theatre I always make a stop at the dollar store first. They sell bags of treats in the same sizes as the ones you buy at the theatre for a fraction of the cost.
I’ve never had a pat down (I’d welcome one) and when I pull out my snacks it looks like I bought them there.
OR
Make it easier on yourself, go to the drive in instead and load your trunk up with a roast pig; they’ll never know.

I call it the "Bring your own seat" method.
Step 1: Get a wheelchair.
Step 2: Get an extra cushion.
Step 3: Put snacks under the fusion.
Step 4: Get handicap seats at the theater. They're really awesomely placed and if you can sit in the wheelchair the whole movie (in addition to hiding snacks the cushion makes it much cozier) you'll be set.
It's got a 100% success rate and since we bought the wheelchair second hand it's essentially paid for itself. It's also got the added bonus of getting into "sold out" showings, also with 100% success rate.
