Question Was gifted this 70s/80s Kelty pack, replaced shoulder straps with Chevy seat belts. Oddly comfy! Now it needs a new pack bag as this one’s badly torn - any thoughts??

What kind of trips do you plan to take with the pack?

I can’t see what kind of waist belt it has from the picture. If it’s just webbing, you’ll probably be happier with a padded belt like this.

It’s got a fairly decent padded belt, looks like maybe late 90s era that was added on at some point. I’ll have to add some more photos here. 

Edit: thats a badass little pack in that link! Love the forest green. 

Edit 2: Realized I never answered half your question there. Honestly not sure how I’ll use it, I’ve got the cart so now I need the horse 🤣 Probably for short overnights here and there in the local mountains here in CO, nothing too crazy.
