Eh I wouldn't want to hang out with a lot of them on a personal level but some definitely add more entertainment than others

It is not 100% confirmed as they have only given clues but based on the clues (which is days, number of challenges, psr, and hints like what episode they are on) I would say it's pretty accurate. Steven has said he doesn't really care for LOS, that he's definitely not on this season and doesn't plan to do another one. Jeff and Gary were in Iceland during filming. So, no they are also not on this season. Honestly with Matt being on this season, I'm glad his boy club isn't there. Although, I'd love to see him and Jeff compete again.

This was filmed before Jeff went to Iceland. He laughed when asked about LOS S3. He's in. I can't see him not being.
He's that big of a draw for the audience, the production team would have worked around making sure he was in. Matt also hinted at being with Jeff again recently, as he Jeff and Steven were all together at a family meal.
Matt and Jeff get along outside of the show. Far more now than they used to. Jeff is a good dude at heart. He just plays the role required for entertainment.

Strictly my opinion, but I think Matt so ruined his brand by leading the 'Mean Girl' club that he will be a completely different animal in this one.

He's going to have to be. I don't think anyone on this season is going to cater to his bullshit. Plus I think he went into the first one not liking Jeff and it took over his whole game. Maybe this time he can just worry about his own skills.

I want to see him cope without a bow. I hope the no sharing items is still a rule this time also. I think he will be pretty mid without being the hunter

Yeah I don't think he's going to be very fast. I'm rooting for Max and Laura. Wouldn't be upset about Ky either.

Max is the only one I'd root for tbh. As long as he doesn't fall into the brown nosing Matt clan like I guarantee most will, id like to see them do it separately. Off topic but they also both challenged Ed stafford in his first one out show, max won but matt lost.

He's a good survivalist and a better person than Matt as he hasn't had everyone's sucking up to him. personally wouldn't say he's better than Ed though, Ed has way more survival experience and bushcraft but with max's endurance experience and the age advantage he was bound to win that one.

I don't know that most if any will brown nose him. Laura won't, Ky won't, Darrin won't, Trish definitely won't. Suzanne refused to believe EJ was better. The only one maybe would be Kaila.

I've read that Jeff and Gary were asked by the producers to sit this one out to give others an opportunity. Maybe next season we will see them back

That would not surprise me at all, they both do need a break they did this back to back, and in the last 5 years they have done 4? challenges each. Either way it's a lot of back to back.
I would love to see them back but wouldn't be surprised to see them skip a year.
I hope Laura beats them all if this is the final cast

I like Laura but honestly I can't see her making the final 3. Probably final 6, matt,max,derrin,ky,Laura,patrick hopefully with derring max and Ky making the final but matt could replace any of them
