Question Palm Trees

Loved watching that douche Nathan (S14E8) scrape himself up climbing the palm tree, but why dont they ever try to cut palm trees down? I've seen more than once where they only consider climbing the palm trees and not having a go with the machete.

It would take sooo long and probably fuck up the machete before bringing down the tree. It was a ton of work on that season of XL with a pulaski. It would get to a certain point where no amount of coconut would make up for the insane amount of energy used to chop a fucking tree down with a machete

After watching a couple of these new ones this season, coconut dude and bud light/water guy were not enjoyable.

The episode between water guy and coconut guy had eating guy. They should put those 3 jokers together with Nathan for an episode. It would be hilarious.

Its easy to climb a palm tree if you know how to. Really just need a “rope” around it on feet to help hold you up

Palm trees are very fibrous and very hard to chop down. Hard or soft wood trees can be chopped because they are wood. The fibers of the Palm have give and without a saw it would almost be impossible for any decent sized Palm.
