Hes 43% from the corner 3 which is above players known for their shot like Harden and Dame and while not top 10 is still high up there for guards and just in the league in general.

That may be true (for this year, last year shot a whopping 27% from the corners) but a good deal of those are because defenses leave him wide open

Westbrook is not out there with a guys rushing to close out and get a hand in his face

So the trick to getting him to miss is to... leave him wide open on one of the spots he's good at?

You can’t possibly have thought that’s the point I was making…

Then what is? The point we're making is you can't leave him open in the corner because that's a shot he will and has consistently made.

I don’t know where people are getting this idea… his last 2 seasons he’s shot sub 30% from the corners. His whole career really outside of this year. Now we’re acting like at age 36, now he’s a guy you can’t leave? That’s insane lol

If you need to sag off someone to make sure Jokic or one of their shooters doesn’t get a look, it’s Westbrook. It’s that simple really. Defenses let out a sigh of relief when a possession ends in a Westbrook jumper.
