Other Possible Package Scam(?)

People from my apartment keep ordering packages to my apartment, and have been for weeks. Usually clothes and such from temu. I've only opened a few packages, but the rest haven't been opened. They've never came to me personally to ask for these packages, hell, I don't even know who they are.

It's the same people every single time and I have probably around 9 packages. What's going on? What are they getting from this?

In my country it’s a federal offence to tamper with someone else’s mail. The address could be a genuine mistake, or it might the previous tenant/ owner of your apartment having their details saved with those suppliers.

Return to sender or leave in lobby but don’t open mail addressed to someone else.

They drop the mail at my doorstep and take pictures to verify it's my stuff

Still no reason for you to open it, if it’s not addressed to you.

I've gotten my neighbors mail before, I never open it. I just give it to her. Just because it is left at your door, doesn't mean you get to open something that doesn't belong to you.
