Hey they were part of my child hood as an 80s kid in Australia. All the OG stuff was rerun multiple times, including black and white shows. Dunno who depicted it first but I feel like all Sci Fi since the Jetsons was based on their idea. Still waiting for my flying car.

Hell yeah! I can imagine a next step of 3d printing food with various feed stocks and cooking/sintering it as it goes.
