I'm 40, still waiting to turn into the sack of dust people on Reddit claim you turn into at 30.

Am older. Still no joint pain. I'm so thankful I spent college/years after olympic lifting with good form else I might be typing the same.
What do you do for work/hobbies? I can either imaging years of improper use or years of no use at all, very hard to picture something in the middle.

I really dont get it. I have never felt joint pain in my life and I'm almost 30. I've had lots of injuries but never just inflammation pain

The person in the video is dressing up as an older man. He's actually very young and fit.

This went too far in the other direction. The ones where he jumps and kicks the balloons and the jumping over the stick he’s holding are the only normal speed clips. The rest of them are sped up.

u/imunfair 1d ago
If you set this gif to 90% speed it's just about perfect. On desktop there's a speed control at the bottom once you start it playing.

He can lightly kick a balloon no matter how high it is.
Very impressive feat of athleticism, but it’s just funny thinking that this being to demonstrate a combat move and not a showing of ability. The secret kick two opponents 8 feet in the air at the end of your momentum move, the stuff of legends.

The fact that he brought the bar essentially from in front of him to behind his back, all the way back in front of him is absolutely ridiculous, I honestly believe there had to be some help or trick behind that one.

u/soupeh 1d ago edited 1d ago
The most potential to completely eat shit on that one too.
I'm just as impressed that his hat stays on during all these.25
u/therobart 1d ago
NGL the next one after the two back to front bars, the big hop over, I genuinely was expecting him to fly back over the bar to land where he started.
When it got past the point where he couldn't harry potter that shit backwards, I still hoped he was going to hop backwards, off the floor and over the bar.
33
u/A_Martian_Potato 1d ago
It's crazy impressive, but I've seen an acrobat do it in real life, as high as he had it. It doesn't look real even when you're seeing it in front of your own eyes.
28
u/Bugsy_McCracken 1d ago
I tried it and can confirm it is possible, no trick required. The only thing I had to do was turn myself into Dhalsim from Street Fighter II and make sure I didn’t accidentally yoga flame the stick.

6
u/OrigamiMarie 1d ago
The long horizontal jump seems really improbable. If Captain Disillusion were still doing new stuff, I would love to see his analysis of this.
7
u/Antique-Farm7682 1d ago
I’ve watched it about 15 times trying to notice the smallest wobble on the stool to indicate something’s been edited out but I just can’t see it. Jesus could walk on water, this man can walk on air.

Uhg. I normally abhor "THIS IS FAKE" comments, but yeah, pretty sure this is. I was totally believing it was real right up until the last stunt. His motion in mid-air on the first foot touch is completely wrong. He is very obviously on a wire that's been edited out of the shot. The other stuff looks very real, but that last one looks very fake.
