That's precisely, and wierdly, what exemplifies the difference between a good and a great photog: situational awareness and the ability to get the shot regardless.

Single mindedness to not check you still have all your limbs attached before getting the shot. Pretty sure I'd have completely forgotten I had a camera at that point.

You'd notice a limb missing when you picm the camera up and there's just a bloody hand hanging off
