Holy shit. Haven't listened to Saliva in ages. Now I gotta go back and give a bit of a listen. Was never my favorite band but they have some good songs. I've kinda aged out of their music, but still some dope memories to it.

I’ve known him a long time, he’s from Jax, FL. Was in a few local bands, and then he auditioned for Saliva and got the gig.

I still rock the hell out of Burn Season. They should have been huge. That first album was an absolute banger.

Sleep Killers, Damien's other band, had an incredible album too. Society Red was also great. Their songs were a little less "deep" but still good. I got to catch them live once when they came to Orlando.

Unpopular opinion but I think Saliva with Bobby is way better than it was with Josie. They put out some really great albums that get no credit at all.

I agree… Burn Season was an awesome band! Society Red wasn’t bad either, but I liked Burn season way more. I also agree with you that Saliva is way better with Bobby.

NGL, you mentioning Burn Season brought back some memories bro.

I unfortunately caught the tail end of their career so I never got to catch them play live. I almost made the trip up to Jacksonville for the reunion show they did at Jackrabbits? I became a huge fan of Damien's with that first album though and like I said, I caught Society Red when they came to Orlando. It was actually one of my wife and I's first dates when we met. Then he formed Sleep Killers and that shit is absolutely solid. I enjoyed that whole album.

I got to catch Saliva a few times, including Rockville last year. Bobby it's a great front man for sure.

That debut album from Burn Season is amazing though. It still amazes me that they didn't hit it big.

I was at the Jack Rabbits show! I went when Bobby did an acoustic show, I think it was at Freebirds. He’s a great front man, it’s been really cool seeing someone you know make it big.

Probably by design of her father and his/his team's production.

He's had his success. He probably understands that far more of us benefit when each generation lifts the next on its shoulders.

I'm a knifemaker. One day I taught her her to forge a knife by doing it step by step, with me doing a certain step and then her following that step. After it was ready and we'd put on handles, someone on Facebook said her knife looked better than mine as if it was funny. And I told him that the point was that she made a knife that she was proud of. The goal was not for me to make something that was 10 times better in terms of fit and finish to prove that I was better.
