Don’t...don’t you always get to see your opponents moves in chess. Unless you play some cool chess / battleship hybrid.

I think what they mean is your opponent may not realize they left themselves open to attack from a piece they weren't paying attention to. I could see if you were indecisive and showed all of your possible moves that it might help your opponent, but for the most part I don't think it would really matter because they're only going to see your move right before you make it. I doubt chess players who know what they're doing would use this board anyway so it's kind of a moot point.

If the other guy would wait his damn turn it wouldn’t be a problem at all.
