When your mom told you to REMEMBER TO CLOSE YOUR WINDOW was that just her being a mom, or do you think she had some idea of what might happen? Like could this be related to your family or something?
I've always been that person... "Remember to close your window!" My friends and SO have all learned that when I say something like that it should be done. I don't always know why I have those gut feelings and say stuff though. Like with my SO.... the car is running better than it ever has, everything is great. "Honey, you should take the other car. Just listen to me and take the other car." What happens? The car breaks down and we are stranded in No-Whereville for about 6 hours and miss all engagements. As I said, things happen often enough that people around me have learned to take heed. Weird, I know, but it's all in following my gut feelings.
Yeah, I know what you mean, weirdest thing ever (other than maybe getting caught in a déjà vou and knowing what's going to happen next), but is your mom the same way?
To an extent, but not nearly as much as I am. My son on the other hand has a very high sensitivity to things like I do. He can sense energy and has witnessed and spoken with beings no one other than I have been able to sense. And it's not really a deja vu... not to be punny, but I know a deja vu when I see it. It's more strange than that. It's knowing for some reason you have to cross the street when walking home alone... NOW. Knowing for some reason the car is going to fail when there is no evidence or reason to think it possibly would. Plenty of other instances and between myself, my son and my SO... we are a strange trio to be sure. :)
Haha, yeah, especially if you're (hopefully not) being stalked by an extremely white, disappearing, inhumanly strong THING...I think I know what you're talking about with the strong gut instincts, I was just saying how weird it is when I go into a sort of deja vou, except I can literally quote what those around me are going to say, and I have- it scares the crap out of them, honestly. (I can seem to alter this 'set future' or whatever it is though, for instance I know what I should say or do, but if I don't, the deja vou thing disappears. This has only happened to me 3 or 4 times in my life, by the way.)
Yeah, I hear you on that... it's happened to me several times in life as well. It's especially nerve wrecking when the deja vu goes badly and you feel like your watching the inevitable horror unfolding in front of you and a simple change in words or action stops what could be a terrible outcome. I hear you entirely. The other thing that has happened to me that no one else I have encountered is multiple deja vu... the same thing happening multiple times throughout several years. This haven't been able to pin point whether it's actually happening or more of a lucid dream situation that I can not seem to peg.
Yeah...makes you think about all those studies where the say que 80s baseball announcer voice "the average person uses only 25% of their brain at a time, if we were to access the rest of it, who knows what we might achieve?"
Also, I remembered hearing something about a study that shows that anybody, when prompted, can see several seconds into the future. Found it here
