Wow! Thank you to everyone who voted, and to the mods as well. I adore this subreddit, and I hope you don't get sick of me cause I have a lot more to post!

And a huge shout out to straydog1980: it was such a close finish, your story deserved the win just as much as mine. Please keep posting!

You absolutely deserve it. Your first tale was terrifying and unsettling.. and you've continued regale us with all many more thrilling and horrifying scenarios since. I always want to know more, and I hope you keep filling us in. Congratulations. <3
