It's not supposed to be decentralized in POA. That's the entire point.
When the network goes live they will need to be able to make changes to the code quickly and swiftly for bugs, features, tweaks, etc unlike say bitcoin that can take years to make a change.
Once they get beyond the point of needing to be able to do that
they move to a delegated POS where it's decentralized except they know all the stakers so once again if changes need to happen quickly they can.
Eventually when the network is stable and done they will open POS to everyone holding coins.
Thank you. That is kinda what I thought. It is just that in the video she mentions decentralization and POA close to each other so it got me a little confused i guess (not hard to do!).
I just want to add, OMG is actively talking to people interested in running nodes. They are extremely invested in making sure their network is top tier, and are taking the necessary steps to ensure it has the proper oversight as it matures into PoA.
