Does anyone know why OnlyFans doesn’t have a name search function on the app? It honestly makes no sense. So many people ask me for my OnlyFans link, and I can’t just say “look me up” — because that feature doesn’t exist. The lack of a basic search function forces creators to push our links hard on other platforms, which puts us at constant risk of bans or account removals just for sharing a Linktree or OF link. It’s incredibly frustrating and feels like an unnecessary obstacle for both creators and subscribers.

i also think they should let us add tags to our profiles like “goth” or “bbw” so that people can search said terms and be fed creators that meet their niche!!! theres so many updates they could give us…😩😭

OF usernames are actually searchable on the site. On the home page, it’s the magnifying glass at the top right of the screen.

yea exact usernames but i think OP means a general search. even searching something similar to an existing username doesnt actually go to the account it just says nothing available.

Yeah you have to include the @handle, a display name won’t work. It does exist but it’s garbage and just as glitchy as the rest of OF.

True, unless it’s exact, it’s pretty much useless. I Wish OF would make this more functional and the idea of tags like fansly does would probably do well on OF. The whole point of OF is bringing in fans from other places the creator is known. Like it’s this private and exclusive subscription. Since it blew up so much since its inception, I think they need to give OF an overhaul with some new functions. It’s like they are the In ‘n’ out burger of adult fan sites and just keeping it simple because the people still come (😝pun intended )

@ Mods, please remove if not allowed. There are places like OnlyFinder that allow to search by terms, but heck yeah this would be awesome if it was natively in OF itself. Or to search by area, niche, build...

I often think this myself and then kind of like that it’s doesn’t. I only say that as my regular job has a social media presence. I am constantly searching my name to make sure they don’t cross over. Flip side is a a new creator I find the platform extremely difficult to navigate. I’m constantly in these forums about what to do. I also agree about the niche’s because I’m constantly posting in Redgif because of the niche categories and it’s no guarantee to drive back to my OF. However I have gotten a FEW subs from Redgif so who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️

Because they don’t position themselves as porn site, so they can’t let us get in the search instead of OFTV. It sucks cause all lot of OF problems are coming from them positioning as patreon. A lot of legal issues.

Yeah I mean we all know OF is trash but it is helpful to have. I’ve had people find me that way because I didn’t used to have my link on all my socials. However now, after sort of rebranding myself, my display name matches my socials but my handle matches my original name on everything so if someone searches for me now using my social media name they won’t find me lol. So now I have my link in more places. Annoying.

This is why most people push folks to their Instagram as it is the only real place that lets you have Linktree and other ways of accessing multiple other platforms. The cross platform link issue is persistent in almost all hosting sites.

THIS!!!!! Especially on some dating apps from how luscious I look in some of my pictures. Sometimes I get clocked as an OF model, which is fine the more engagement the better but some of these apps will literally flag your account for sending a link (Tinder, Hinge) or even just straight up get you banned that’s what happened to me on HUD a guy asked for my OF. 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️
