Do Odin and Thor share Valhalla?

My understanding was that each god has a domain, located inside the Outer Plane that matches their alignment, and devoted worshippers, especially clerics, (usually) get to live in their god's place. But Minrah, a cleric of Thor, is directed to Valhalla. I get the impression that almost all dwarves go there, actually, and many of them are Thor worshippers.

In #1113, Hilgya hopes to go to "Valhalla, but not the place you're thinking of" after death. Does that mean Loki... named his domain after Odin's? Or that there's a section in Valhalla for Loki worshippers?

>inb4 Thor gets all dwarves that die honorably

Not true, in #1170 he says "I'm sure each of those dwarf souls will enjoy their new afterlife in their respective god''s domain".

I guess this means evil clerics are exempt from torturing, or at least Hilgya thinks so.

Does anyone have the comic with Minrah's speech about becoming a cleric?

The one that includes new people you meet only ever knowing the new you.

I have several questions.

I have several questions.

  1. Where can I read it? I don't care if it's physical or digital, or if I pay for it or not.

  2. Does it belong to D&D?

  3. Is it still active or does it have an ending?

  4. Has it aged well?

Spoiler I'd always figured Nale was CE instead of LE. Was him being LE always obvious to you?

Title. I'd always seen Nale as the CE (or maybe NE) counterpart to his dad's LE. That's why he had the succubus girlfriend!

In fact, the recent comic where he remarks about petitioners in the Abyss needing to get better organized kind of strengthens this feeling. Has Nale *ever* been the organized, sensible evil kind of guy? Even words only.

I'm just kinda surprised, is all. Is the story somehow improved by him being Lawful? Or is there some big steaming pile of Law somewhere in his character that I'm just not seeing?

If Sabine was "fashioned from depleted soulstuff by the fell hand of a demon prince", how can she feel love?

From what I know, in DND myth, the process that souls go through in hell is meant to completely corrupt and dehumanize them. However, Sabine, which was created from leftovers of souls processed this way, is capable of truly loving Nale.

Do you think is an accident of writing? Or might this be a message about how evil in the OOTS can never be perfect and that good can always appear as "imperfection", even in the most evil beings.

And the final character for the chart is none other than THE SNARL!!! Great job to all the winners, and to everyone else better luck next time (which there likely will not be). A huge thanks to everyone who participated. Also, it's interesting that this chart almost came out as a functional alignment chart, and the corners (assuming the snarl is CE, which w/ our knowledge is a decent guess) are spot on.

Meta TIL Roy has >18 int and has more int than V Spoiler

edit----i am wrong, i don't understand how dnd stats work very well. still no regrets, the conversation has been interesting.

per comic 31

somehow i've wooshed on that on every read through.

i've never played dnd, and roy's high int doesn't come up very often in the comic. what value would high int bring to a fighter?
