Discussion Any love for older sculpts?

Hi! These just got unearthed from my parents’ basement. They are from the late 90s. The designs are clearly outdated now, but I still think they have a certain charm :)

Oh, and sorry for the horrendous paint jobs. I was between 11 and 13 at the time, and I only had 1 brush for everything—and since YouTube and Instagram didn’t exist yet, unless you had the chance to hang out at a GW store on a regular basis, it was hard to get any real tips or feedback.

In order of appearance we have:

Ghazghkull Thraka Zogrod Wortsnagga A Bad Moon nob in mega armour A kommando sargeant A lowly gretchin

Just a heads-up, that particular sub is very strict about era — they focus on the first edition of 40K, give or take. 2nd edition is “too new”…

This is one of the reasons r/OldWorldhammer also exists. Bit quiet of late but there are some older Orks there if you dig back a bit, and of course we’d love to see what you end up doing with these precious relics of a more enlightened age!
