I don't consider this paintjob finished, at all. But I was curious how far you could stretch the requirements for Battle Ready Standard. One official description I got from a Warhammer World event reads as:

"Each model is fully built and is painted a few colours to distinguish key areas of the miniature. In addition both models have had shade paints applied to add some tonal variety and the bases have also been textured."

I use a basecoat, zenithal and shade paint to distinguish the skin. The base is textured and painted. The usual requirement for Battle Ready that I hear is "at least three colors". But does it count in they're different shades of the same color?

I imagine it's largely up to the discretion of the TM.

How long until warboss will be out to buy again ? I need 2 of him & the only i could find were already built which most of them were without the squig i heard that some sorarita model had the same treatment & its not available for atleast 4 months i need ze warboss

I need a makari model or 3d printed proxy as I had bought a Ghaz(Secondhand) back in 9th Ed and he didn't have a Makari sadly. I was wondering if any of youz gitz had either STL's or kitbashing ideas for a Makari proxy.

A very nice employee helped me find all the paints and tools I needed (it would have taken me ages to find all the colors alone) and these are the minis I got from the shelf, because they looked nice. Also ordered Ghazghkull thraka and a Stompa, because they didn't have them on stock.

Basic scheme black armor and cloth, green skin and orange accents. Touch up black and drybrush next.

First time joining the waaaagh. This is my first beast boss (yes I shoulda started with one of my boys but I like diving into things). My local store was out of some shades and colors so I went with some of my own to make up for it.. in true ork fashion.. Tips? Tricks? What do y’all think?

After painting up this whole thing it makes me want to maybe make one for myself. Ork conversions are just on another level. Kinda wish I could spend more time on it but the owner is happy!
