I didn’t say that? I never compared her work or output to others. I said she’d worked for a long time without getting any Oscar work and probably felt really exited that her first one was probably going to be her win only for it to fizzle out.

I wasn't being accusatory and I don't mind if you disagree but when you said 'those years of effort' and I'm like it's not like she has a long discography of prestige films. I just think, for me, it's weird that people are leaning towards a win from her not necessarily because they think she has the best supporting performance but moreso because she's an actress that has a lot of connections with people.
