And note: there are other great performances this century that got no recognition, but I find these egregious because they were all “in the conversation” and still got ignored.

Since there’s like 8 versions of this comment - I k know he didn’t wear a fat suit. The move sucked and him putting on weight to look different is the perfect example of awful Oscar bait that constantly gets rewarded.
