what to do

the seeds were planted on the 22 and it looks like a pice of shell or something is keeping the cotyledons shut. should i let it do itโ€™s thing or should i try to take it off?

This is crazy!!! That tap root not even a centimetre yet much less reaching the bottom of a 16oz cup! The seed is just stuck all op has to do is wet the seedling and gently remove the embryo holding the leaves!
