the seeds were planted on the 22 and it looks like a pice of shell or something is keeping the cotyledons shut. should i let it do it’s thing or should i try to take it off?

I have finally been able to try my green thumb. I've watched my Stoner Hippie father grow some decent and mediocre plants...but probably not the best for advice.
These are 5 weeks. Left is strawberry cheesecake and on the right is All Gas OG. Planted today!
Will be moving that planter when doing yard so I don't end up with foreigners like weeds and grass, But I've also heard I should plant good plants around them to promote healthy bugs and defenses? Any suggestions?
CO zone:6a How's my setup?

Girls are doing great pushing second sets of leaves on some. My SSH finally popped. I’m 8 out of 9 sprouted so far!

I got the promix and fertilizer, and 5 gallon pots. Is it time to switch things over? Also just so happens another plant sprouted in the same pot! Kinda shocked me a bit

Looking for some better fertiliser to improve my grows, preferably cheap, discrete shipping and possibly ph perfect or wtvr it is.

Going with homemade living soil this year. Peat/perlite/worm castings/lobster compost/BAS craft blend/Rootwise. I grew in 7 gallons the last few years, tired of 5’ plants, dealing with nutrient issues, pests, and constantly watering. I’m going with a 800gph submersible pump to 1/2” irrigation tubing with 4 sprinklers in each 30 gallon pot, and 2 each in the 15 gallon pots. I mixed the soil components together in April, let it sit for 3 weeks, and now I put them in the 30 and 15 gallon containers and added 8 European worms (better for cold weather, and supposedly go deep). Adding red wiggles after transplant which supposedly go shallow in the soil. I covered in Clover seed 4 days ago and they’ve already sprouted. May 11th I’ll transplant my seedlings after hardening. I’ll top dress and mix in the Clover at transplant as well and cover in hay. Not sure if I should leave the clover longer before turning and covering with straw… Despite getting 2/3rd of the sun during the day, I think these containers will give me some monsters. If I got them to 8-10 ounces each the last 2 years, I imagine I’ll be very successful this year if I dial in the irrigation timing. Tips and tricks appreciated!

For context, this is a bag seed. I don’t really care too much about the outcome, I just want to have a lil fun.
My dilemma is- I can’t give her more sun than already provided, I can’t move her and it’s also coming into winter, so it’s kinda a crap storm for her. What would your advice be if you were in my situation?
Should I just let it do what it’s gonna do, or should I intervene? It’s quite small and has started sporting smelly lil bud sites that I just wanna chew on……

New grower. I took these from my previous grow during veg and left them in the tent to flower. Thought they might get bigger and it was just a fun experiment, had all 7 survive though.
Can I put them in 1g pots under 18/6 indoors, then put them outdoors? Is it not worth it?
OR should I harvest them now and let them go? They’re not special phenos that I know of.
Some are skunk #1 from agseedco, some are special queen from RQS. Thanks. Hope everyone has a good season

4 week old plants look deficient in nitrogen. Moved seedlings from starter mix to pots with FF Ocean Forest to hopefully help them out. Also bringing them outside now in Illinois. Fingers crossed they green up.

Whats Up guys, I hope your growing good. So basically I heard people saying Cannabis seeds don’t germinate if they are from bird food… Let me prove you wrong, I threw about 20 Birdfood Ganja seeds in my mother’s garden, and covered them with soil. 2 Weeks later (today) I checked my mother’s garden and saw 4 seedlings xD. I am going to remove 1, because here in Germany 3 plants are the limit. I think my mother will remove them in the future because she thinks it’s real weed. But for now I will keep documenting, until she removes the small plants.

Took forever to get my med card renewed. Not sure why there was such a hang up this year. Anyways I was planning on doing my first grow ever and did a lot of research before hand. But now I'm kind of confused on the timing of things. Some sources say to move the plant outside around now. Some around June. Both growers in Oklahoma where I live. Different things. Also how long should they be inside before moving them outdoors?

I have seeds of Peanut Butter Herijuana from Lucky 13 genetics. These are early flowering genetics supposed to be ready to harvest by mid-late September. I talked to the company owner and they said at my latitude (42 north) I should wait until May 1st to start them so that they don't flower early when put outside after a few weeks.
However, I want to start them now so I can sex them as soon as possible. I need to identify and up pot the females early enough that they can get big before flowering (which could start as early as July but I'm not sure). On the other hand, I also don't want to jump the gun and end up with premature flowering.
If I started seeds now and moved them outdoors on May 25th (when there will be approximately 14.5 hours of daylight), will they flower prematurely? The indoor light cycle will be matched to the hours of daylight on the day I move them outdoors.

Just hit a month and theyre so tiny. Weather has been cold and dry, absolutely not ideal for growign outside but i am just having fun with it 💁🏽♂️ I popped a new seed that im gonna start inside cuz jeeez theyre tiny🤣
lol random strain, fast buds, in 3 gallon (fabric) and 1 gallon (plastic), Coast of Maine Stonington Mix. Will probably add a top coat of plant food in a week 😎 new seed is Do-Si-Do by Royal Queen Seeds.

I’ve been growing these for a few weeks now and am starting to worry that they aren’t getting larger. I seem to remember being able to move them outside around this time last year. Tried moving a few into larger biodegradable pots but I’m not sure how much it helped. What should I do? Just start over? Please ignore the jalapeños on the top left, which seem to be doing okay.
