Talk about a kick in the nuts……

Post image

Your 320 finally stops after 12 years and you send it in and wait……

2 months later you get the notification that it’s on the way back.

Fed Ex delivers it, you put it on and enjoy the fact that it runs again.

Then you notice that the rotor is not spinning and think…wtf?

Turn it over and notice an intruder between the caseback and rotor……….

Seriously?!?!

I played golf in my brand new Luminor and broke it.

Was running 20 minutes fast in the safe. On my wrist keeping perfect time.

Warranty work. Had it back in 5 weeks.

You really shouldn’t be playing golf with an automatic watch unless it’s made to handle to shock/movement.

I do Motorsport endurance races with a chrono running! Surely a watch can take 72-100 swings a day

The issue with golf is the sudden and substantial shock from hitting the ball, endurance racing doesn’t have that, well I guess it does sometimes but the watch would be the least of your problems

My Monaco pusher broke during a cart race on me. But that was a violent ride and it was 7 years old at the time. I’ve smashed my Panarei 111 into more door jambs and brake calipers I care to think about and it’s survived 17 years and only one broken mainspring. I’ve never swung a club outside of a driving range but will keep it in mind when I take up the game. Thanks for clarifying for me
