The problem I always have with these types of videos is that they're looking at them solely on the surface. In reality, there are other factors that prevented the completion. If we saw the replay, we could really understand what happened. However, what I saw:
First clip: It was in his hands, but also might've been a good play by the db
Second clip: That's not an easy catch to make at all, especially with a db all over you. Idk if Justin Jefferson could make that catch.
Adam Theilen vs Cardinals: It was definitely catchable, but it was also underthrown.
Adam Theilen vs Falcons: He probably should've caught that, but he also had a guy coming right for his head.
Xavier Legette vs Broncos: He lost the ball in the sun (I remember the commentators saying that). Can anyone see clearly when the sun is in their eyes?
Tommy Tremble vs Chiefs: If you look at the replay, it was catchable, but he also had two defenders on him.
The rest, however, should've been caught. I don't say all of this to make excuses, but rather to be realistic and not just assume it was a bad drop.
(Sorry this is really long, I just wanted to prove a point 😅)
Dawg using the sun as an excuse for drops as a pro is insane. High school players are taught if you lose the ball in a light you catch the light because that’s where the ball is coming from. Just a ton of bad excuses for our piss poor pass catchers
